Description

Today I got a brand new Epson scanner for my traditional art/watercolor paintings! So this is the first scan! YAY! Painted with liquid watercolors in Tahoe Blue, Amethyst, and Magenta 5x7 Fabriano Watercolor 100% Cotton Cold Press Paper #2 Synthetic wc brush Pencil sketch, watercolor Prints will be available soon(ish) and I have more art to upload too! I know its totally different than my digital work, but I have been wanting to get back into traditional for a while now, and I have finally gotten back to my pencils, and invested in several sets of watercolors to learn that medium and different techniques as well as watercolor markers, alcohol art markers, and Japanese watercolors... No, I am not giving up digital art! Just also going back to my roots in traditional art because I really miss it, I also got a new art desk and lots of different papers to try =)

Nice! I love watercolour myself ... and digital. Sometimes you just need to put something on paper.

Very nice. I have a lot of respect for anyone who paints in watercolors. They are so unforgiving.

I never really got how people can possibly handly a brush & colours like this. It's just so amazing-looking.

No as this is not digital painting so I only scan it to the computer not paint on computer not with this no, also you do not always have to leave white and I have left some white.

I fully understand the lure of watercolors. I used to paint with them a lot, but then wandered away and have been focusing on my 3D-to-2D illustration technique because that is the fastest way to feed my artistic engine.

These are simply beautiful. You could really combine this in a show with your blue forest painting. They definitely seem to be coming from the same emotional and tonal space.

Well done!

Thanks I am slowly working up different collections of paintings some go together some do not... I love a wide array of subjects so each time I paint I just go with whatever I’m in the mood for! Lol!
