I started Brycing in November of 2003 after being introduced to it through the owner of www.mulawa.net, Peter Hewitt. He created a set of tutorials and sent a group of us a book called Advanced Bryce Creations. His generoisity has led to many hours of joy for me as I create the images you will see in my gallery.
I was able to start Brycing because I no longer worked as a CAD drafter at the local foundry which lost most of its business to overseas businesses. My husband supports me for the time being but says when he retires, I get to go back to work so we have health insurance. We will see :D
Stats: Female, married, no children, brown hair, hazel eyes, glasses, drink Bacardi Limon and diet Pepsi(have since given this up...I still miss it, lol), love to golf, camp, play PC games and Bryce. I used to love to tend my garden so that's where my nick came from...Burpee Seeds.
Boring? Maybe but I'm happy :)

The scene looks great! The Kokomo dragon seems to be taking in the splendid view before him! Excellent work! :-)

I like how you positioned the Komodo face/eye to the camera. I can understand what he is saying "stay out of my territory" :)

rule of thirds is an approximation at best; golden ratio works better in some situations. In any case the monitor is roughly on the bottom third boundary, and also extends the sight line from the mountain through the right hand dunes, so it it works for me! Nice work

Thank you. Getting the composition correct is important to making an image work. In this case the scene was boring so I put the Komodo in the scene. The sand dunes were actually the point of interest (and the purpose of) in the tutorial that I was following when I made this. I got carried away like I always do, lol.

very fine render - but will the poor guy find some food there?
Burpee
He's headed to the vegetation in the distance. Should be some tasty morsels there :)

I've always found it difficult to get the right proportion for the objects of a Bryce scene, especially when there's a landscape in the background. You've been more skilled than me here, with this beautiful Bryce desert scene. Congrats 👍
