I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

Oh... how I know so well the pain when using interacting figure poses and the subjects aren't "standard" sizes. 😭
Wonderful image, very well done. 👍
LyleAryn
Thanks! And I love tall/short pairings, so I go through this a lot, lol.
Tracesl
excellent
LyleAryn
Thanks traces!

Lovely work as usual! Texture option worked out okay for you then, perhaps I should add it in to the final.
Really nice bit of posing and interaction.

Thank you. Next render will show it better. The Rocketeer needed a girl to complete the image, lol. I can also say it works on Victoria 8.1, though I had to lower the offset further and reduce stabilization time. Not sure if its the poses fault or Vicky's

Wow! Super, expressive render. I completely get the tweaking needed! So many times there is a great set that works nearly and all the little tweaks nearly drive me nuts!
LyleAryn
For sure! If the render time hadn't been a bear, I might have tweaked it some more, too.

Getting couple poses to work on non-standard geometries can be a nightmare. Can you image trying a 3 character interaction? Very nice work.
LyleAryn
Ummm... wellllllll.... yes, actually. I have one I hope to get right one of these days involving three characters, and one involving five. But I'm kinda stalling until I get the new computer built, as well as putting more work in on my WIPs involviing lots of water and/or fog.
Thanks for having a look!

I love your, work especially the expression of characters and light composition. If you are on creating a series of images, I can help you with the translation in Hindi or Scriptwriting work.
LyleAryn
Thank you. That seems interesting!
