I am the author Lyle Aryn. Writing is my first love, my one true passion. Every since I was able to string a sentence together, it's all I've wanted to do. Websites where you can find my work and more are below.
I started using Daz Studio October 23rd of 2018, just as something to dink around with. I'd been signed up with the sight for a while, and would occasionally remember to check for freebies. I was surprised at what I had when I finally loaded up the program. I just started playing around with it, figuring it out. I'd say about 92% of what I've learned in the program I've learned just by playing around with it.
In December I went from being a dutiful son looking after his mom, to the full-time, no nights or weekends off, caretaker of my Mom. As someone who struggles with depression, anxiety and a mood disorder or two, this change has had a drastic impact on my own personal care and well-being. I turned to my blossoming love of doing digital art as a way to cope with the mountains of stress on my shoulders. I do miniature painting, too. But when you haven't slept in 4 days, handling a brush can be very messy. Not being able to paint to my own personal satisfaction was making this avenue of relaxation increasingly frustrating.
Daz Studio has an undo button that you just don't get with painting miniatures.
As my skill with the program grows, so does my confidence. I did the cover to my fifth novel, "Because the Night" using Daz Studio, as well as new covers for two previous releases. (Though they haven't been updated just yet.)
I'm looking to always improve my artistic work, no matter what the medium, and Daz Studio is no different.

That's absolutely awesome! Who doesn't like shiny stuff?
As for the car, low poly it might be but yo know what, it reminds me of the open days at Ford my dad used to take us to as kids. Got to see all the mock up concepts made out of clay and bits of plastic, sprayed in shiny colours, and they looked a lot like that! Except they had wheels...
Lovely job with the shirt too. Just another look entirely!

Thanks! It's piquing my interest in trying my hand at some 3D modeling. Just as soon as I clear some time for it. And resist the temptation to just do another Daz render.
Five uploads in one day is a lot for me, but I do hope you appreciate them. Got to do something special for a special friend every now and then, right?

Keeping those original 'Charger' lines was a fine choice. Its a very fun render. i am loving that 'Over Siize Shirt." Way to go 'chasfh' !!!!

Thanks! And yes, this model caught my eye for that reason. I might just have to use it as a template for a Blender project.

Splendid scene, bravo

Low poly seems kind of realistic after looking at Elon Musks' truck :D Love the flow of the metallic fabric on the oversize, it looks like mylar and matches the floating charger--which is the most delightful grape color!

You've got a good point there. I'm not really a fan of that monstrosity myself. I figure Mr. Musk is the closest we've got to a Bond villain irl.

Total badass !

Thank you!

Oooh, shiny... I love shiny things too.

Then it works out, then! Glad to please your eyeballs!

Both are looking quite sweet here! I know how those "test" ideas wind up being a series of renders all too well! Thank the Maker for external hard drives! LOL
LyleAryn
Indeed! In a month or two I should have a whole new setup to clutter with render stuff!

Thank you. It is certainly a fun model, even if it's a little simple. I'm itching to figure out how to make my own now.
