Description

I purchased the tutorials from Daz about using Daz characters in Unreal. I was mostly very good. A couple things changed since the tutorials, but over all it was a help. I did play with cloth simulation and in one scene you can see the cape go out of control. The figure and clothes are all G3. I could have use G8 but have to work hard of the animations. I used Genesis to create them at Maxamo and then after importing and saving them to Daz, I could apply them to G3 and then to Unreal. G8 is different and the arms and legs go wonky, and I didn't want to spend the time on fixing each one. Everything else is from the Unreal library. My next one will be moving over a completed scene. Making this took about a week in my spare time. After a few crashes due to my video card, I rendered out individual frames which I then put into Premeire with the music to render out the video. Unreal does output straight to video, but I've always worked this way. Out of Unreal it rendered in about 5 minutes. Took Premeire about 30 minutes to render the final video to compile the images and add the music.. Music Soundtrack by 1-Minute-Music.ch / CC BY
