La lune a plus d'un tour dans son sac, le commun des mortels connait la lune rousse, mais personne, hormis les fées, ne sait les bienfaits de la lune verte. C'est qu'il faut guetter son cycle d'une manière particulière, et observer comment le tronc des arbres prend cette couleur outremer. Leur écorce devient alors, spongieuse, et les fées plus que centenaires, vous diront qu'en y collant leur oreille, elles y entendent même jusqu'au ressac de l'océan. C'est le bon moment ; celui où la lune exhale comme une brise de spores aux odeurs de fleurs et de feuillages, qui régénère l'énergie des fées. Leur peau devient diaphane et comme irradiante dans la nuit, leurs vaisseaux se gorgent de cette sève de Séléné et se ramifient en broderies végétales. C'est alors que certains papillons s'approchent, attentifs. Dès que la couleur des yeux des fées vire au même bleu outremer, ils savent. Ils savent que pour rendre à la nature ce trop plein d'énergie, les fées transpirent, et que bientôt des gouttes de nectar vont perler au long de leurs parures florales. Bienheureux, le papillon qui s'en délecte, il vivra quelques temps de plus.
