What a wild delight to find this in your gallery! I love the stiff look of the two---they seem very aware that their meeting is about to become legend...I love the 19th C "mythic" poses. And the huge hand of Stanley (I presume he's on the left). And your depiction of Africa is a big splash of color and grain and gravel...with a beautiful rust orange sky, and flat sun (it's almost Japanese). And some huts and a beautiful primal tree. You chose to do the bottom thrid in a bright aqua green---a great contrast to those rust and autumnal hues. (Maybe a reference to the Victoria Falls that Livingstone wrote about and named.) I love the feel of this image, and the tongue-in-cheek feeling. And the beauty of it. (How in the world did you come up with this, lol? I didn't expect a reference to Livingstone!)
