I suppose it's appropriate to start with the basics. My name is Gordon. Every Gordon I have ever met has been ugly. Not the sort of extraordinary ugliness you might meet in the interesting characters of film noir — the bulbous nose, the crooked mouth, something memorable and distinctive. We can't look away from train wrecks. In all their horrific ugliness, they engage our attention. Gordons do not engage our attention. Gordons are forgettably ugly in the most English and interminably dull sort of ways. Take me, for instance.… - - - - - Current state of character development of Gordon Gray for The Unremarkable.
