I think it's usually safe, as long as you read the warning signs carefully... or if you're a giant carnivorous chicken ! :D

Well, they do say birds are descended from dinosaurs. And a chicken ain't nothin' but a bird. So ... giant mutant chickens whose too-many-greats-to-count-grand-daddy was a big, bad T-Rex? Sounds about right to me.
