I have no idea on how many I saw in the flight pattern to Douglas Aircraft, but they always past over my mother's home

Once in a while we see some old classic flying over here for the Air Force Academy. Most of the time they are fighter jets, however, I have seen P51, P38, B17, and the like on occasion. Good photo!

I've always loved the DC3 / C47 - it's lines just flow so beautifully.

We had a couple AC-47s (the ones with the big rotary guns sticking out the side) when I was stationed at Udorn Thailand back during the Vietnam episode. I actually worked on the comm systems in them.

Great capture of this classic, Richard!

This is virtually identical to the one which crashed in Albania during the war that my Father rescued 30 American personnel from during his time in SOE. Great shot Richard!
