Description

"It was a clear note, golden as the Horn was golden. The trees around them seemed to resonate with it, and the ground under their feet, the sky overhead. That one long sound encompassed everything... And out of nowhere, a fog began to rise. First thin wisps hanging in the air, then thicker billows, and thicker, until it blanketed the land like clouds... Mat lowered the Horn, eyes wide with awe, but the sound of it still rang... The fog hid everything in rolling waves as white as the finest bleached wool, yet Rand could see. He could see but it was mad... Down the billowing fog, as if it were the side of the mountain, rode shapes on horses. At first the dense mists hid more than that, but slowly they came closer, and it was Rand's turn to gasp. He knew them. Men, not all in armor, and women. Their clothes and weapons came from every age, but he knew them all." Text from -The Great Hunt- by Robert Jordan I admit I had to cheat on this one because Vue would never have accepted so many hefty files in one image. Just the Photoshop and Poser files alone for this one add up to 483 MB! It was basically an exercise of rendering each person described in the story separately in Poser and then cutting an pasting onto a Vue image in Photoshop with much postwork. This is one I've been wanting to do for a very long time and it took me forever to create it. Credits: Obviously a great many credits for this one. Most of the people, horses, props, clothes, hair, etc. come from DAZ, with th exception of: Poser World: Mat's pants and boots, 3D Commune: Arrows and bow, Renderosity: Charger horse armor, Amazing Grace and Oxana characters, Classic Hair. The foggy atmosphere is from the Renderosity free atmospheres pack in Free Stuff. Oh, and I never would have had the patience to finish this without the Fyrwerks Defender Poses also from Renderosity. The horn was modelled by yours truly in Truespace 6.5. It took me forever to get right AND drove me nuts because I'm inexperienced and HATE MODELING!!! Thanks for taking a peek!
