Description

This is also from the oldest city in the US, St. Augustine, Oldest house. When the Spaniards arrived here in FL, they did find fresh water, but since the ground here is very sandy, they got a good chunk of sand with each sip. These stones were used as ballast on the ships that came FROM Europe. And the people living here found that they were excellent water filters.
