Description
After all the trouble around the swamp planet its time to dig for some money... there nuggets full of hyper crystals are just right. Risky to prospect for, but of special value for the third milleniums high-tech industry.
I always liked asteroid pictures, but needed some time to get the right ideas for a second experiment after Asteroids 1. In this picture I played a bit with the options of zero gravity; while it was a bit cumbersome to get the characters correctly placed on the twisted asteroids, I think it really adds something. A nice side product was also the mining robot shown in the foreground - one of the most complex objects I've created with C4D so far. Thanks for visiting, have a nice time!

Bravo Alex, it's awesome !

Another amazing scene ! Only one remark - in the emptiness of space there is no place for volumetric light effect - unless we assume that this is due to minute particles of dust present in the ring :-)) Does not change that this is an excellent scene!
Alexander_Kroener
Robert, of course you are right. What I wanted to simulate with the vol. light are micro meteorites. Not perfect, but looks cool :-)

What can I say that would add value to an already perfectly valuble rendering! Not much to say but WOW! HATS OFF TO YOU! (but not while in the vacuume of space! LOL!
