Well first off let me say this is a lovely shot, now let me break the bad news to you,its not a bee, its a drone fly. Now dont feel bad about it,the first line of the field guid on the drone fly says" Stout,resembling Honey Bee,but no waist between thorax and abdomen." So its easy to mistake one for a bee. Now with that said, its an excellent capture of this guy, a realy excellent job for sure.

This is most perfect my dear friend.......... this image has an excellent dof and soft focus.............. lovely!!!!!!!!! and congrats on your first capture of the bee...... wish you were in India at this time of the year starting november to Feb...... you would be choosing which bee to shoot and which to avoid. Infact, I have a problem of choice at times...... If the flower is good the bug isnt.... if the bug looks cool the flower doesnt........tough, eh??;)
