Description

Mauna Kea temple. Several make shift temples were erected on Mauna Kea to respect the Hawaiian Cultures and Beliefs. There is a Hawaiian movement in opposition of any further building of observatories on this Mountain. It is in plain view that the Natural Beauty of our mountain "Mauna Kea" is being slowly replaced by science, the "Observatories of the Universe". Aloha and thank you for viewing.

soloshado; I did get a close up but it wasn't a good capture. This little shrine is taller than it seems. I think I would need a step latter to get a better shot. Thanks for asking.
