Description

Hi to all the Byrce Community Well I must say it has been a very long time since I last posted an image here at Rosity. It is good to get back to doing a bit of art, which is just for fun, and this is just a quick one just to try and get back in the swing of things. As some of you may know I haven't been doing much art over the last year as my little boy (who had his first birthday 3 weeks ago) takes up alot of my time, which is great - I love it!. But the other reason is that around six months ago my father inlaw was diagnosed with the worst kind of brain tumor you can get. So as you can imagined it has been hard for us all especially knowing that he may not get to see his grandson grow up. Well I hope you like this image and would love to hear from ya. Im not sure who made the church, I thank you as it is awesome to work with. Take care all and have a great day. Scott.

Good to see you back around these parts, even if just for a quick visit and posting between real life things. Sorry to hear about the father in law, but good to hear your son is going great. Onto the image - cool texture work on the church. Good stuff :)

Appropriat picture - A good group of people of faith can be a real comfort during times like this - whether they meet in a beautiful church like the one you've shown us, or in someones living room - or a coffeehouse or wherever. My dad's got cancer and our church has been a big support. I'll say a prayer for your father-in-law. As for your image, my first thought was, "gee, I wonder what filter he used on this photo, it almost doesn't look real" - then I saw it was bryce. Great job. Depth of Field really adds to it! Wonderful work and deserving of a VOTE

Awesome model and a great render, but alas, methinks it would be better withouth the DOF blur near the bottom. It tends to warp the sense of distance, and seems to confuse the mind as to how large or small the church is....
