Animation Contest: The Gamer's Most Epic Cutscene

Create & Animate the most epic cutscene to your very own imaginary game. Each player must also Design an Illustration of a game level. Cutscene: "Animation Short" a scene that develops the story line and is often shown on completion of a certain level, or when the player's character dies.

General Contest Rules:

All Renderosity members are eligible to enter with the exception of Contest Managers and Admins.
Any software program can be used.
Submissions will be open beginning on Wednesday, June 20th at 10:00am (cdt) and will end at 10:00am (cdt) on Monday, August 27th.
Renderosity Staff & Admin Voting will begin on Tuesday, August 28th at 10:00am (cdt) and will close at 10:00am (cdt) on Wednesday, September 5th.
Winners will be announced on Monday, September 10th.
Entries MUST be time-stamped by Monday, August 27th at 9:59am (cdt), or they will not be accepted. Only one (1) entry per person, per category.
Entries MUST be new artwork not previously posted online, or anywhere else publicly.
Entries MUST NOT appear online anywhere else during the contest or until the Contest Winners have been posted.

Entry Specifications:

The Animation/Video entry requirements are 10 seconds to 3 minutes.
Max file size is 1500MB/1.5 GB and the accepted files are: MP4
Game Level Illustration Image size must be a maximum of 1200 pixels x 1200 pixels in .jpeg or .gif format (72 dpi).
Thumbnail image must be maximum of 300 pixels (wide) x 350 pixels (height) in .jpeg or .gif format (72 dpi).
Video Animation, Game Level Illustration full-size image, and the thumbnail are REQUIRED to enter.
Entries of previously winning submissions will not be accepted.
All images must comply with Renderosity's Terms of Service for thumbnails.
No Nudity is allowed on the thumbnail and/or full image.
All entries will remain anonymous.
You cannot sign your real name, nor Renderosity username, on your image or in the description. Any signed images, will not be accepted.
You MUST include a description in the blank field to tell what type of software you used, what inspired you and how long it took to create the image.
You may also include anything else about the image you wish to share.
Images without a description will not be approved and will be asked to re-upload with the description included.
Images that do not follow the contest rules or our Terms of Service will be removed.
Vote soliciting will not be tolerated. Entrants that solicit votes will be disqualified without warning. This includes, but is not limited to, emailing and site-mailing members.
We recommend not waiting until the end of the contest to upload your entry. It is common for upload and/or approval complications to arise.
Corrections will NOT be accepted if they are not time stamped by 9:59am (cdt) on Monday August 27th, 2018. Please give yourself ample time to correct your entry if need be.
By uploading your animation video & image, you are agreeing that this is your original work.

Voting:

The winners will be selected by the Renderosity Staff & Admin.
All Entries will be posted on Renderosity Facebook before winners are chosen to get help from the community.

Additional Information:

All prize winners must supply Renderosity with their real name, email address and mailing address for prize distribution and registration.

By entering this contest, you agree that your submission(s) may be used by Renderosity for promotional purposes. This may include; online, digital, print, on CD or in any other medium. By submitting your entry into this contest you are granting Renderosity the right to retain your entry in its archive and to display the entry within this community to promote Renderosity and/or future contests held.

By submitting this form, you agree that you are authorized to grant Renderosity the permission to use of your image in print advertising, promotions or website usage. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder of their images.
