Hi everyone!
I am a Hobbyist just having fun with Graphics.
I have been away from this site for a very long time, but I am happy
to be back and look forward to seeing all the wonderful art from the
talented artists who post here at Renderosity.
I work primarily with Poser Pro 2012, 3ds Max 2012 and Adobe
Premiere Pro. It's older software but it works for me :-)
I mostly use V4 and M4 in all my animations. they are easy to work
with and do not take excessive resources away from my PC. I use a
Dell Optiplex 7010. It's a great computer and you can find them cheap
on e-bay.
While I do most of my own modeling using 3ds Max, I primarily model
the environments in which my Poser characters live.I find myself going
to Daz3d and RMP for all my character, texture and clothing needs.
I animate and set up all my characters inside Poser and then transfer
them to Max by using a Fusion Poser/Max plugin. I then set up the lights,
cameras and all needed textures within Max.
I render the animations by using a V-Ray plugin. I use a 2.35 image aspect
ratio on all my video animations. It just gives them a more cinematic look.
I thank you for looking at my Gallery!
Your comments are always appreciated.

Wonderful, it's incredible, I like the music very much, it's a perfect accompaniment to the hard work you had to do to make this video. The movements in the water are very well done, work of pro, especially when we look at some things on television for children that are made in 3d. Thank you for sharing these marvels with us.

I have 3 words for this. Fab-u-lous! I can only imagine the work you put into this production, so much so it makes my head hurt. You really have patience to put all the elements together. This is beyond great and should be an inspiration to anyone who thinks they can not animate. My hat's off to you, what a great showcase of skill and talent. Bravo!

Then you're the first one I'm coming to see, I've been looking at all your latest prints and liking them all, because they've all turned out beautifully. I wish you a good start into the new week.

Great work, Really love your bonus swimming model at the end. Love the hair movement... Is this Daz???
JohnnyM
Thanks for stopping by buddy! :-) The animation is done using Poser Pro 2012 version. It has a plugin that allows me to host the animations within 3ds Max where I do the rest of the work using this software! Take care and have a great weekend! :-)

3D video is very hard, and I'm really impressed at how smoothly and creatively you did this. The mermaids both swim and yet seem to suspend in time (a striking effect), and the stingray (???---something like that) moves beautifully in and around the rocks, etc...very cinematic, almost like drone shots. The sequence of your mermaid swimming to the flag, then lingering there, is equally musical and cinematic. I've done almost no 3D, so I can't appreciate your camera work the way your other fans can, but visually I can appreciate what you must've done to get this to run smoothly and so expressively. (I did animation in 2D, where you draw every frame...I never mastered it, as I didn't have the years it takes to master that kind of animation; but I came to appreciate all that goes into the illusion of motion. And then my short encounters with 3D gave me a taste of what goes into 3D animation---which is just as hard---and your vision and intuition is very visible.) You worked with the score well too...Beautiful work, and let me say, once more, that I appreciate the kindness and thoughtfulness of your comments, you are one of the people here who put yourself into others' art, and I appreciate that greatly, both for my art as well as for others where I've seen your comments. Many thanks, you're very thoughtful.
