One more image of my "Factory Ship" tribute to Chris Foss. I notice that some of the most viewed images in my Renderosity gallery are the orthographic ones. So, to all my loyal visitors, here you go and enjoy! Astute viewers may recognize that the font used for the registration markings is actually the that of the Romulans in "Star Trek: The Next Generation." This is not meant to identify my Foss ship with the Romulans in any way; I just thought that this font resembles the futuristic lettering often seem on the designs by Foss. Also, I suppose it documents my occasional laziness as a hobby 3D CGI artist! ;-)

Brings back memories of all those paperbacks I bought just because of Chris Foss' cover art - didn't really matter what was inside them! A great image that captures the artist's style and a nice piece of modelling.
